Cornerstone Bible Church is a Bible believing group of Christians that desire to worship the Lord and to minister to His people. We also desire to share with others what the Lord has done in our lives and what He can do in theirs.
We believe that all the wisdom needed for living is found in the pages of the Holy Bible, God’s Word. Just as the cornerstone was used as a reference point in the foundation of a building, making it plumb and square; so Jesus should be our Cornerstone, our solid Rock upon whom we can depend to lead us through the good times and the bad. It is with these thoughts in mind that we have chosen the name Cornerstone Bible Church.
“Coming to Him as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, ye also as living stones are built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture: “Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious; and he that believeth in Him shall not be confounded.” Unto you therefore who believe, He is precious; but unto those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,” and, “A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense.” For they stumble at the Word, being disobedient, unto which also they were appointed. But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people, that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. In times past ye were not a people, but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.” (1Pe 2:4-10 KJ21)
